The multi-awarded masterpiece film, West Side Story, was the result of the collaboration of such talents as Jerome Robbins and Roberts Wise (director) Leonard Bernstein, (composer) Stephen Sondheim, (lyrics) Ernest Lehman (screenplay) and Arthur Laurents (libretto). But also in the mix, were 20 plus incredibly talented young performers who portrayed the crucial roles of the gang members and their girls. These performers brought vast training and experience to the film and have gone on to enjoy exciting and productive careers. This site showcases the talents and career highlights of that talented group of actors and actresses who, created some of the most dazzling and dramatic moments in cinema history.
