Maria Jimenez Henley aka
Teresita
Maria Henley appeared in Jerome Robbins'
"Ballet USA" in New York and her
various dance and choreography assignments led to
reunions with "West Side Story"
co-stars Gina Trikonis, Andre Tayir, Jaime Rogers
and David Winters. She also played Consuelo in
the LA production of WSS staged by Tony Mordente.
In
addition to her extensive movie and television
dance credits, Maria has served as member and
Chair of the AD/SM/PA Council of the Directors
Guild of America, as well as Co-Chair of the
Guild's Latino Committee.
Her
versatile career now includes a screenplay in
development and the near-completion of her first
book.
